Title: Switch Director

Location: Richmond, VA

Duties: This position will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of Cavalier Telephone's Switch Operations network and direct work activities related to the operation and maintenance of 31 traffic switches and all associated ancillary equipment within the Cavalier Telephone footprint.

The Director will analyze network, recommend upgrades/changes and assess current and future network needs, be responsible for overseeing projects related to the engineering, installation and expansion of telecommunication network; develop and enhance internal processes for all functional areas with the goal of increasing efficiencies and ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction; assist with preparation of annual operating and capital budgets and track expenses to ensure budgetary compliance; identify solutions to address business issues and requirements as identified by Senior Management; ensure the security, safety, and environmental compliance of systems and facilities; interface and provide support to all other departments within the company and provide training and other resources to employees to enhance productivity and promote career growth.

Qualifications: Candidates must have 5 years switching management experience.
