Duties: The Business Care Representative will provide excellent customer service and work on special projects in an effort support Cavalier's business customers. Representatives in this position are required to take customer calls on a daily basis from Cavalier business customers, providing applicable and accurate information to customer questions, addressing customer concerns, and coordinating support efforts as needed.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, work well in a Team environment and have previous customer service/call center experience.

Title: HPBX Project Manager (Any location)

Location: Any

Duties: Cavalier Telephone is seeking motivated, team-oriented individuals to handle the implementation of hosted PBX business services through extensive collaboration and coordination with customers, vendors, and internal operational departments. In addition to technical verification and compatibility verification, this position will guide customers pre- and post-install so that the value of the service is maximized for the customer. Successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years technical experience in the telecommunications field, including LAN, data and telephone equipment knowledge; a minimum of 2 years customer training experience; and a minimum of 2 years project management experience. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of PBX and key system features, functionality, and provisioning is required. The candidate should be able to analyze use habits of customers and offer creative alternatives in a positive light. Experience with customer premises data solutions is highly desirable. Knowledge of Bell South Operating systems is preferred. Background in sales and customer service is desired. Prior voice/data integration experience is preferred. The candidate should be have a strong service-orientation and be consultative in their approach. The person should be well organized, able to multi task, and comfortable with on-site contact with customers. This position may be located in any of our Cavalier offices.

Qualifications: The hosted PBX project manager is responsible for the gathering of all information related to the project and ensuring all elements are ready for time of conversion. This will include site visits with the customer to gather station requirements, coordinate site visits with our Customer Solutions Team, obtain any contract addendums, pre-train of customer personnel and provide on site support at time of installation.
The project manager should have a technical understanding of Cavalier’s network and customer requirements in order to validate that the product can be supported. The candidate must have an understanding of provisioning flows and interdepartmental functions in order to efficiently manage the orders.
The position will 1.) track orders to ensure that the customer’s needs are fully met; 2.) Develop efficient follow-up methods on outstanding issues so that the allotted resolution time is met; and 3.) escalate if parties are not resolving issue in a timely manner.

Title: Complex Product Provisioner

Location: Richmond, VA

Duties: Effectively provision and test new / MACD complex orders: Assess customers hosting needs by examining current zone files and assist in migration/creation of these records over to Cavalier’s network
Work with end user IT staff or 3rd party vendors to ensure interoperability of systems / applications
Perform testing of DS1 and above circuits prior to customer acceptance.
Identify and troubleshoot a wide variety of misconfigurations and equipment failures and provide technical support to customers during and immediately following implementation of services
Initiate direct communication to end user / technical support staff to minimize downtime or system interruptions
Perform new, move, and hot cut DS-1/EFM/HDSL circuit configurations for new and existing customer
Accurately implement complex data installations while meeting the customer requested due date
Dispatch for repairs of local exchange carriers and vendors

Qualifications: Demonstrate a solid understanding and working knowledge in the following disciplines:
Adtran, Carrier Access, and Overture customer premise equipment
Cisco and Juniper edge / core routers
o Adtran TA3000 / TA5000 TDM to Ethernet aggregation devices
QOS policies consistent with selected Edge/CPE equipment o
Provide support and setup for various voice applications traversing an IP network
Ethernet last mile services and LAN side Ethernet services IPSec tunnels, VLAN’s, and other Security offerings

Title: IP Network Engineer

Location: Richmond, VA

Duties: Cavalier, www.cavtel.com, is currently seeking an IP Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our IP/MPLS backbone and to develop solutions required to enable the rollout of new IP products and services. The IP Engineering team must work closely with each other and with other teams to complete projects. Constant review of existing network practices, including standardizing configurations and implementation strategy for border, core, and provider edge routers is expected. The IP Network Engineer is the subject matter expert on IP and MPLS networking and will, at times, be required to assist the data sales engineers in providing customer solutions. Additional responsibilities include providing highest tier support for network outages or highly complex customer issues. The candidate must be capable of working independently as well as taking direction to accomplish both short term and long-term goals. In depth data network design and engineering knowledge required for this position.

Qualifications: Candidates will need in depth knowledge of the Internet as a whole, IP, MPLS, all Ethernet protocols, QoS, BGP, OSPF, VoIP, and a working knowledge of transport networks. A strong working knowledge of a variety of carrier class switches and routers, CPE, and SBCs is preferred; Specifically Cisco, Alcatel SR/ESS, Juniper M/MX, Adtran, and Acme Packet. The IP Network Engineer must be able to perform system maintenance and upgrades during established off-hour maintenance windows, and must be available for travel to remote offices in the event emergency repairs or network upgrades are required. The IP Network Engineer must also be capable of quickly learning new equipment and technologies. Good network and system security practices need to be adhered to during day-to-day activities. Experience is expected. This person must be capable of independent action for resolution of issues that are encountered as a part of the day-to-day environment.

Title: Network Services Support Project Analyst (Richmond or Newark, DE)

Job Function
This role requires the entire business skill set - strategy, communications, problem solving, and analytics. A highly analytical mindset is required, with the ability to manage detailed financial and operational data modeling, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. The candidate must possess an entrepreneurial approach with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for the financial planning & analysis function, and will work closely with the senior management team to develop operational reporting and forecasts, analyze variances, and identify and implement appropriate strategic and tactical responses to operational and financial indicators. Expertise in modeling and forecasting is required, along with a proven ability to synthesize large amounts of data, but this must be coupled with an ability to summarize information and succinctly communicate analyses verbally and in writing. The Senior Business Analyst will be working closely with the CEO, CFO, and VP of Corporate Development on financing, M&A, and other strategic projects. While this job does not require a CPA, the successful candidate will have a thorough and detailed understanding of accounting and financial concepts and mechanics.

Qualifications: Industry expertise is not necessary, but the candidate will be expected to develop a strong understanding of the industry and how business operations affect the financial performance of the Company. Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. CPA or MBA highly desired, but not required.

Implementation and turn up of dedicated internet customers. Some customer relations are necessary. The ISP Network Tech is the highest level of trouble escalation and will assist with implementation and improvements where necessary. ISP Network Technician must be capable of working independently with minimal or no supervision, and capable of exercising judgments in application of various tasks. Qualifications: Candidate must have working knowledge of TCP/IP Protocol, sub-netting, LANS, WANS, MPLS, ATM, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, and Telecommunications equipment in relation to data networking and the Internet, and setup in regards to networks and workstations.
The ISP Network technician must be able to perform system maintenance, and upgrades at off-time usage hours, and be ready to travel to remote offices for emergency repairs.
Good network and system security needs to be practiced during day-to-day activities.
Experience with, or knowledge of DS1, DS3, Metro Ethernet required.
Prior experience configuring and maintaining Alcatel-Lucent, Juniper, and/or Cisco routers and switches is also required.
Experience in UNIX and network monitoring software a plus.
The ideal candidate must be capable of independent action for resolution of issues in order to fulfill assigned responsibilities.

Duties: Cavalier is currently seeking a Sales Trainer. The Sales Trainer position may be located in Atlanta, Richmond, Herndon OR Philadelphia.

The Trainer is responsible for developing training content and delivering training for each of the groups within the Commercial Sales division, including Indirect sales, account management, and Sales Engineering. Training will be focused on the following subject areas: products, process, paperwork and sales skills. They will travel to different markets as needed to provide training, guidance and support to Sales Management.

Qualifications: The position requires a minimum of 1 year of sales or training experience, and at least 3 years of telecommunications experience. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel). The position requires thorough knowledge of telecommunications services in the small/medium business, government and enterprise segments. Title: Senior Account Executive

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duties: Prospects, cold calls, and generates new sales opportunities for medium to large-size business clients. Sell Cavalier products including; telephony, Internet, TV, and related services to medium to large-size business clients. Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities. Manage accounts through the entire sales process including; prospecting, qualifying, contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverage the Cavalier sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase market share. Ensure the highest level of support to our customer base. Identify key decision-makers and build strong relationships with clients. Understand the business and service requirements of the client. Retain and grow revenue. Develop and present proposals to prospects based on the needs of the business client

Qualifications: Well developed communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to follow through. Good organizational skills, prospecting, and follow-up skills. Self-motivated, problem solving, and a self starter who works with little direction. Customer focus – recognize customer needs. Works hard to ensure and maintain a high level of satisfaction to clients. Must be willing to travel and posses the ability to work remotely and independently. Strong personal characteristics including high integrity, team orientation, hard working, good judgment, persistence, and a positive attitude. Professional presence and business acumen. At least two years of outside business-to-business sales experience. Experience in a fast paced company environment is preferred. Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred

Title: Channel Manager (WARMINSTER, DC, NOVA, MD ONLY)

Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Eastern NY, and Eastern Pennsylvania. Ideally, the candidate would reside in Philadelphia

Essential functions and duties
30%
Recruiting New Channel Partners; prospecting for New Channel Partners; and, End User customers in Cavalier’s indirect sales channel
Maintain and farm relationships with channel partners
Manage prospects through sales cycle.
Achieve Quota as outlined in the business plan.
Achieve sales activity as outlined by sales management.
Ensure all new Channel Partners are trained on our products, services, support, processes, procedures, online portal, commission reports and all paper work.
Develop activities plans for each new channel partner
Monitor revenue activity levels to ensure 100% realization by the end of the commission window and ramp up period.
Communicate contract terms to Channel Partners.
Conduct quarterly reviews of each channel partner’s business and assess their commitment to Cavalier
Organize Monthly activities and goals for each channel partner to ensure increasing success
Measure and communicate monthly activities and goals for each channel partner Communicate and track monthly and quarterly promotions with the Channel Partners.
Ensure that each Channel Partner contact is complete in its entirety and executed accurately.
Manage and coordinate sales/service meetings with Channel Partners.
Provide accurate forecasting and sales funnels to management on a weekly basis
Work with your direct sales counterparts cooperatively in support of Cavalier policies
Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined by Human Resources, Sales Operations and Marketing

Supporting and Developing Management expectations of Channel Partners in accordance with Cavalier policies and procedures.
Support and communicate new products, systems, services and processes to Channel Partners
Trouble shoot and communicate issues to various internal departments for resolution
Serve as a senior mentor in support of sales management.
Be responsive to our Channel Partners by returning all calls and emails in a timely fashion.

Selling Cavalier value, benefits and products to Channel Partners and End Users.
Train and develop new Channel Partners and sub Channel Partners on products, services, systems, processes, procedures, paperwork and support offered through Cavalier Support
Close and cement end user sales appointments with Channel Partners
Lead by example at all times

Report by complying with all sales reporting requirements including contact management, win/loss reviews, weekly and monthly meetings, forecasting and exceeding quota.

Communications Responsibilities include providing competitive feedback to sales management and marketing on a consistent basis.
