Title: HPBX Project Manager

Location: Any

Duties: Cavalier Telephone is seeking motivated, team-oriented individuals to handle the implementation of hosted PBX business services through extensive collaboration and coordination with customers, vendors, and internal operational departments. In addition to technical verification and compatibility verification, this position will guide customers pre- and post-install so that the value of the service is maximized for the customer. Successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years technical experience in the telecommunications field, including LAN, data and telephone equipment knowledge; a minimum of 2 years customer training experience; and a minimum of 2 years project management experience. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of PBX and key system features, functionality, and provisioning is required. The candidate should be able to analyze use habits of customers and offer creative alternatives in a positive light. Experience with customer premises data solutions is highly desirable. Background in sales and customer service is desired. Prior voice/data integration experience is preferred. The candidate should be have a strong service-orientation and be consultative in their approach. The person should be well organized, able to multi task, and comfortable with on-site contact with customers. This position may be located in Philadephia, Delaware, Baltimore or Pittsburgh

Qualifications: The hosted PBX project manager is responsible for the gathering of all information related to the project and ensuring all elements are ready for time of conversion. This will include site visits with the customer to gather station requirements, coordinate site visits with our Customer Solutions Team, obtain any contract addendums, pre-train of customer personnel and provide on site support at time of installation.
The project manager should have a technical understanding of Cavalier’s network and customer requirements in order to validate that the product can be supported. The candidate must have an understanding of provisioning flows and interdepartmental functions in order to efficiently manage the orders.
The position will 1.) track orders to ensure that the customer’s needs are fully met; 2.) Develop efficient follow-up methods on outstanding issues so that the allotted resolution time is met; and 3.) escalate if parties are not resolving issue in a timely manner.

Title: CPE Tech

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duties: The CPE Technician will ensure the timely installation and restoration of Telephone service communications circuits, from the central office, to the co-location sites, and at the customer premises. The CPE Technician must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision, and be capable of exercising good judgment. The CPE Technician will work with customers, vendors, and internal employees, to install or resolve maintenance or service issues to the customers satisfaction. The CPE Tech, will work closely with dispatch, The IS/PC, ISP, Transport, Switching, Translation and CPE supervisors, to provide excellent service and support for Cavalier Telephone’s business customers. The Goal and Objective for the CPE Technician, is the installation and restoration of telecommunications circuits for business customers, safely, and in a timely manner, while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications: The CPE Technician must have basic knowledge of analog and digital communication technology, and a working knowledge of Telecommunications Practices. Title: Network Operations Center Tech I

Location: Newark, DE

Duties: This position provides preliminary network surveillance and monitoring of the Cavalier Telephone SONET, switching, IP, DSLAM, and Access networks. The technician will have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions typically require working independently, but some technical assistance from higher-level technicians, supervisors or Manager may be needed.

Primary Duties:
1. Must be able to analyze alarm conditions as presented in NetCool Network Management System and dispatch the appropriate personnel to respond the conditions as presented.
2. First point of contact for customers having issues with DS3 and above circuits. This will include Dark Fiber customers to whom Cavalier has leased facilities which are not lit by Cavalier, but by the respective customer.
3. Must be able to troubleshoot alarm conditions and utilizing TBS determine which customers are and would be affected by the alarms as presented.
4. Creates Network Activity Tracking System NATS tickets and Network Events, outlining the alarms, personnel contacted, dispatched, carriers contacted, customer notifications, as well as escalations to various external and internal organizations. The content of this information should be accurate, timely and be brief while conveying the tasks as they are completed.
5. Updates assigned tickets, escalating to various carriers and personnel as required until completion, which includes making customer contact and follow up with various internal departments as needed.
6. Tracks all calls (in and out) via the Call Logs.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Required to update any open NATS tickets, going through the queue to ensure updates are completed.
2. Provide assistance and support to other team member as required during critical outages.
3. Escalates ILEC (carrier) tickets if needed.
4. Assist with Change Management as needed.
5. Provide assistance with Locate calls and Escort tickets.
6. Perform any other duties assigned by NOC supervisor or Manager.

We are seeking Account Executives, Senior and Major Account Executives!

Responsibilities for these positions include:

Prospect, cold call, and generates new sales opportunities for medium to large-size business clients.
Develop and present proposals to prospects based on the needs of the business client. Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities.
Sell Cavalier products including: local and long distance telephone service, Internet access, Internet Security and related telecom services.
Manage accounts through the entire sales process including: prospecting, qualifying, contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
Leverage the Cavalier sales model to retain and maximize revenue growth and increase market share.


Qualifications: Customer focused attitude ensuring the highest level of support to our customer base.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota.
Good prospecting, presentation, follow-up and closing skills.
Self-motivated, problem solving, and a self-starter who can work with little direction.
Ability to work in a fast paced company and must be able to accept and capitalize on change.
MAJOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES
The Major Account Executive in this role would call on large corporate accounts in the local area to offer products and services.
The individual we seek must have 3 years successful track record calling on CEO's, CFO's, and state and local government decision makers selling telecommunication products and services. Our chosen candidate must have working knowledge of telephone systems (Key and PBX), long distance services, data, ISDN, T-1, and Frame Relay as well as our premiere product “IPeer" Hosted PBX.
Strong follow-up and time management skills are essential. Business-to-business sales experience and/or telecommunications experience (CLEC) is highly desired.
