RESTON, VA — 14 October 2009 — Transaction Network Services (NYSE:TNS) has been selected by Cavalier, a leading provider of competitive telecommunications services throughout the eastern United States, to be its exclusive supplier of SS7 network and database services.
Cavalier is a full-service provider of reliable and efficient telecommunications solutions for business, consumer, and government customers. Using its owned and operated fiber optic network, the company serves hundreds of thousands of customers throughout the eastern United States.
Under this new, exclusive agreement TNS will provide Intelligent Network services, including Local Number Portability, and SS7 connectivity to power Cavalier’s communications products.
