Cavalier Awarded GSA Local Services Acquisition Contracts

Seven-Year Contracts Valued up to $113 Million

RICHMOND, VA — February 4, 2009 — Cavalier, a leading provider of competitive telecommunications services throughout the eastern United States, today announced the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded Cavalier with contracts for a period of seven years to provide voice, data and Internet services in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. The contracts with all option years are worth up to $113 million.

Cavalier’s extensive network delivers the U.S. GSA a full suite of communications solutions. The company’s robust switching platform, self-healing fiber optic network and monitoring capabilities provide the reliability and diversity required by federal government agencies.
